Time for Milner to reestablish himself as a central midfielder. He's at his best when he's putting himself about, when he attacks too ofter he can be frustrating, however that's not to say he has no attacking quality. I really think we need to play with 3 in the middle. Either Milner or Rodwell to partner Toure and Ferna.

Continue to play ferd and yaya as pair in a midfield 4 and we will get nowhere near winning the league

notice what happened with the hull city chance early on in the game....yes the player goes past lescott but this is because lescott gets caught in 2 minds as there is a huge space in front of him....yaya and ferd and both over the left hand side of the pitch trying to close the ball down......there is no depth in the midfield (its flat) and cleaver players will play between the space between our back 4 and the midfield 2.......

it also happens on the goal that is disallowed...look where nasty is when the corss comes in......he is a couple of yards further forward than lescott because again he has been sucked into a space in front of him.

The only mistake we have made in the transfer market for me, letting Gaz Baz go, even on loan. We need him.

Milner is quality in the centre, sure he can play that role. Gutted about Gaz Baz goin cos he wanted to stay but i'm not worried for the team.

Pretty worried by this 442 though... 3 in midfield please... soon. Teams have played against 442 for years here, it's a bit like sellin coal to Newcastle.
