Well apart from him believing that he is the 2nd coming of Zidane I agree with most of what he says. No doubt the "We Love Gareth Barry" brigade will be along shortly to crucify Barton and tell us all how great Barry is but Barton is pretty much bang on the money for me.

Mind you Joey also reckons that he , himself , is the best english midfielder ...... no harm in blowin' your own trumpet i suppose , however misguided it is!

Yeah he reckons he's Englands best midfielder and he should be first choice. The thing is, I agree with him peeps. I myself reckon that at 5 foot four and 46 years old that I am the best goal keeper in England. Joe Hart couldn't hold a fookin canddle to me and like Joey I to am tired of being over looked by both club and country, at least Barton gets a game for his club now and then, so whats he whinging about?
