I really wish I hadn't been drawn into this but here goes. We are told (by you) about all the tech wizardry that you do and we take it at face value because realistically, our only interest is that the site works properly and by and large, it does.

Everyone on here would have an opinion of some sort, if asked, as to what sort of moderator you or any of the others are. This is because we all can see what you post, we know mostly who gets banned or warnings ( because they tell us) and we make our minds up. To say that you will ignore our opinions is incredibly arrogant and to compound that by saying our opinions are worthless. It seems that you have taken some of what has been said as being personal attacks. I haven't read all the thread so can't comment. For my part, I have tried to be reasonable and constructive and I think it is reasonable to expect the same courtesy in return

What I post is nothing to do with my moderation as Ric, I and every other mod has consistently and repeatedly said for the longest time.

People who get banned are the biggest liars on the face of the Earth as any mod will tell you, who constantly misrepresent events.

As I said, you have an opinion and you have a right to one. I have the right to point out that that opinion is built on absolutely no information or grounding in reality thus dismiss it.

I can have an opinion about your new hairstyle and say that it's crap. It is not arrogant for you to tell me that you couldn't care less about my opinion because I have literally never seen your hair.

This is the problem here, your opinion is worthless on every conceivable level but you are unable to accept this due to presumably some egotistical need to believe you could possibly have an informed opinion here. You cannot. It's ok, it's not your fault that your opinion is completely uninformed. But this doesn't change the fact that it is.
 
If everyone behaved themselves we wouldn't even need any mods, probably plenty of users who don't even know who the mods are, I can only name about 4 or 5, don't know how many there are.
