Battle Of Orgreave

Is that for any crimes or is there a sliding scale? It's just that Rolf and a few BBC Dj's are interested.

You've answered your own question. A sense of reasonableness and proportionality applies here Stony. You seem to be wanting to deal with ideals, when the world is not ideal. An inquest is not free and (and incidentally not guaranteed to yield any meaningful conclusion). In short, it would be a waste of time and money. Maybe you'd like to chip in a few quid to pay for it? I wouldn't.

How the fuck is it appropriate? Do you honestly believe it's appropriate for a policeman to hit someone because of his political beliefs? Fucking outrageous statement.
Scargill and his mates weren't there for a picnic or peaceful protest. They were there mob-handed to stop coke lorries leaving the plant by fair means or foul, as they'd done at Saltley. I've no more sympathy for him than I have for SYP (and that's not a great deal as they were and still are a bunch of lying bastards).

Angry violent mob suppressed by a bit of heavy handed policing. Oh dear, what a shame, never mind.

I do not want a solitary penny of my tax money spent on a pointless enquiry about a non-event 32 years ago. Honestly this should not even have made the news today.

Can I just add that Andy Burnham is a joke.
You seem happy that a government can basically turn the UK into a police state with the help of the army to justify a political aim - do you have a photo of the north Korean leader on your mantelpiece?

No, do you have a photo of Citizen Smith?
