Bayern Munich (Friendly) | Post Match Thread

We're gonna beat a PL record on goals scored in a game this season.

Some lovely almost telepathic passing last night. Fuck me, were going to spank some teams with that when we get upto speed.
But some pillock on Talksport just a day or so ago said he expects City to break scoring records but they still only get 3 points adding he still fancies Liverpool for the title. I know I shouldn't have it on.

I think one thing that was incredibly exciting last night was the signs of build up play that didn't quite come off just yet (due to lack of match sharpness) there was a couple of moments where things started to build that gave me such excitement for upcoming games

Think Ali Mann and Michael Brown were knackered towards the end (it was about 3am I think) got all confused about the timings! Good job the ref blew for the end of the game when he did by the way. Thought Rodri looked fantastic, but star man was Ake

After watching last night's game I am really excited for the season to start I think with our new players we are a lot stronger than last season if we get a left back icing on the cake

I put a fiver on City to win (correct score of 2:1) got a message this morning from Corals, money refunded as it was not a 'proper game' of 2 x 45 mins.

I was quite pleased about that.

Then I remembered - I bet there were some City fans/betting people who had money on 1:0 and I suppose they are not so chuffed today.

Is haaland already pissed at guardiola???
Todays quotes ," peps a little bit crazy"
And" niggles what are niggles you seen im ok." Could be a reference to pep saying haaland will play as long as he doesnt fall out of bed .and hes had some niggles.

yep, we looked sharp on the brake, and they showed fear by kicking us, also the tempo was faster and not so much just hiding the ball in our back 4, it looked full of ideas

But it will have nothing to do with being punished for not being jabbed as youre alluding to , my thought was that they just wont have the match fitness.

We’ll On saturday peps thoughts i guess

I didn't say it was punishment either. Just like turning up unfit wouldn't necessarily be punishment finding themselves out of the side. The lack of responsibility affects your preparation.

Wow…. Maybe because as with every person in the free world they are allowed to make their own decisions. If they can still stay healthy and play football what issue is it to anyone?

You didn't read the last sentence of my post did you?
