Thick fuckers these Sports editors honestly. This was the Quatre Final, first Leg. In this position in the home Leg, one has to try and get the Balance right. Objective being win the game without conceding. Hence John Stones role.

Bayern edging position had nothing to do with the fact they were better up until that point. It was simply us managing the game, consciously not going "Gun Ho" leaving our self wide open at the Back to a side that could potentially hurt us.

Was a really good professional, street smart performance that bodes well for the second Leg.

They are a very good side though mate, the best side we've played all season.

For all the first half and the first ten minutes of the second, it was a very even game and if they had scored it could've gone either way.

But we were brilliant, our defence was superb and as we always do, we just kept playing and we wore them down.

3-0 is a great cushion to have and they have to come at us next week, but we've grown in this competition and i just can't see us throwing this away now.

Good to see nearly 100 pages on a game that we won!
It's nearly always when we've lost. I suppose it's because when you're happy, there's less soul searching and analysis that goes on, usually. You're happy, that's it.
That said, there is an awful lot to analyse about why last night was so good. I think, all things told, that is our best match ever in Europe. Rome away was a a superb performance, but not as complete as this one.
