I've washed my hands of this competition, we don't stand a chance of realistically winning it with corrupt refs like these. Been restricted to 21 players was a joke in itself. I'd prefer just to concentrate on retaining our title as at least then we'll stand a chance of getting a relatively easy group (New changes being automatically being seeded for Pot 1) compared to the 3 successive group of deaths we've been lumped with in as many years.

Stonewall penalty near the end...Dzeko's yellow card was a complete joke etc etc. Seriously, fuck this competition. Bent as fuck.

Not a group of death last year. But why let the facts get in the way of a good rant ;)

Only good thing is, provided the whole things not gonna be a deliberate carve up between Roma & Munich, I can see bayern winning every game, So, 10 points (A win & a draw against Roma & two wins against Moscow) might just see us sneak second place.

There is something missing in our DNA when it comes to the CL and after 3 seasons it's about time we found it. Starting with Roma.

Don't agree. Tonight was the classic CL game between two of the best teams in Europe. Both sides showed the capacity to prey on the others' weaknesses. I think we struggled tonight in specific areas (Sagna defensively, Edin on an attacking front) but overall it was what it was. These fine margins are what the top end is all about. Unless you get into the Real Madrid mind sight of having a rock star in every attacking position.

Pep had to make half a dozen tactical changes throughout the game, and we matched all of them.

Been a long time since i've felt that good about a defeat.

At least this time Roma play open they aren't Napoli of that time who only counter

But winning the first game a draw will do for them in this situation !

gervinho and maicon scored three of roma's goals , and they are next to useless , if we dont take 6 points off roma , we simply dont deserve anything in the champs league , just annoying we will probably finish 2nd in the group and platini will have his balls in the microwave already for the knockout stages draw.

Loose and we will find ourselves check-mate for at least 3 more season.
Now you can fill the strings of UEFA being pulled behind the curtains.
Why can't we play against nobodies, day in -day out just like the dippers or Arse/United are offered to ?
