Half their squad out and still lose. Roma thrashing CSK, is it to early to worry a little ?[/quote

needed to win anyway against roma ...now we have to win big !

No we don't the Champions League goes off head to head so if we beat Roma at home and avoid defeat away the amount of GD doesn't matter.

All cool, need to win our next game and put Roma under pressure. We should be fine, this was our only throw away game of sorts.

Agree with a lot posted on here

We are so far off the elite it's untrue

We just don't have the mentality to impose our game

Tonight was just a case of would they score

Defense played well but midfield is so far behind other elite teams it's untrue

Nasri shite, yaya shite, sagna shite, ref shite, not seeded shite, playing away first coz not seeded shite, squad restrictions shite, transfer restrictions shite, manager in stands shite, zaba in stands shite, Aguero on bench shite, last minute deflection shite, Bluemoon on go slow shite, I want to punch some fooker.

Extremely disappointed.

Bayern aren't that great and definitely won't win the tournament on that showing. We were way below par and yet they still huffed and puffed their way to a stuffy 1-0 win.

What we are still doing wrong is going into these Cl games v 'bigger' sides and showing far to much respect, being far to submissive, conceding far to much territory and trying to be something we're not.

As a team we just don't impose ourselves and we're still giving off a vibe that we're somewhat 'in awe' of the opposition and aren't actually allowed to have a proper go at them.

Until we grow some hair on our bollocks it simply won't change.

Play wise Yaya was a fucking liability. The kid clearly isn't 'fit' and clearly has zero defensive understanding at this level. This left Fernandino exposed to fuck for the whole time. The amount of work he has to get through is ridiculous.

Sagna was also incredibly poor. There were times when he looked so one footed he looked like he'd been on the piss before kick off.

I thought Joe Hart had his finest game in a city shirt since Dortmund at home 2 seasons back. Made some cracking saves and looked excellent.

The rest were very 'blah' imo. Not one of them played as we know they can.

Nailed on penalty on Silva (Bentaia) btw. Absolutely diabolical (bent?) decision by a ref who was right there.

Bloody pissed off .
This feels like 2 years ago when we lost to Real Madrid .
And the goal came from the same area .
We need to wake up because we never seem to learn .

simply cant agree.
If you think the likes of sagna..clichy..milner..yaya..nasri are gonna win us this comp then you need to wake up.hart kept the score down
I cant remember when neuer saved a shot..enough said..

Exactly. Would have been 4/5 without Hart. We are not at their level.

Owners may want this but without the ability to spend big it isn't going to happen.

Eh?? We can, have and will spend big. and by the way, it wasn't 4/5….
are you joking.hart kept the score down.
tell me neuer made a save of note.
he didnt.
we are at least five yrs away.
our squad is no where near
dress it up all you like.simply bereft of ideas im afraid.

there was only one certain penalty at that was on david silva , referees again shit scared of giving decisions against an established club , champs league stinks , run by corrupt fuckers , who want the same clubs with their noses in the trough every year , We will still qualify , but in 2nd place , and we will then draw real madrid , its nailed on.
