3. I dont like the fact that certain players appear as "untouchables" - namely two above. Not only does it cost us games, but also sends a wrong message to some in-form players on the bench.

4. I disagree with pre-determined subs. Dzeko was our BEST attacking player tonight (by far) - DONT SUB HIM. We really needed his hold-up and areal presence near the end...why not bring in Sergio for Yaya?? Yaya was just standing around 40 yards out anyway!!!

5. Just play two fucking strikers already. We need Dzeko AND Kun there. Our form dropped off once Dzeko-Jovetic duo went down. AGAIN - you would not sacrificing much because Nasri is playing like hot garbage.

Same shit as against Barcelona. We had once in a time chance to get good score against mighty Bayern, with all injuries they had, just like Barcelona were at their worst when we played them last year, yet we were too scary and conservative.

Yaya was disgrace, Silva and Nasri anonymous, Zaba is quadruple player of Sagna, at moments Sagna looked like Lescott with the ball.

Yet we could drew without another awful refereeing performance. Stonewall penalty, bookings for perfect tackles, no single card for Bayern. It's shocking he didn't call a penalty for them for one of those so called incidents, just that was needed from the ****.

This unfortunately has a look of 2012/2013 all over again. Losing in 90th minute away at best team of the group in first match, 6 points from next 2 or we're out.

I am worried about this group and Roma, this is how the first CL started loss to Bayern then the Italian team comes to the Etihad like now. I think this Roma i stronger than that Napoli was. (Even tho that was a very good counter attack side with Mazzari.)

Make sure we got at least second place after all. The disaster of another CL group fiasco simply cant happen with these players in our squad. Luckily we have 5 more games to put it right but it was far from a great performance. If he hold out for the draw it would have been a great point but the game was really not good, only Hart was the difference between 1-0 loss or a 3-0 loss. I think if they score earlier it would have been even worse as we open up more and they attack us with some counters too vs slow Demichelis etc.

We had no pace going forward, Navas found himself crossing position with no one in the box. They usually had 2-3 options in the box when they crossed.

What could have been Pelle's gameplan? Other than hopefully its a 0-0 and a point for us cant see anything else.Second half we became worse in terms of attacking but went further back to defend so Bayern did not have as many clear chances. We weret far from what Stoke/Sunderland used to do at Etihad if if its 0-0 at HT. Defend deep hope for a lucky counter. Stoke won at Etihad with this tactic. (Even Begovic didnt didnt need as many good saves as hart tonight.)

We came for the 0-0 but the pressure is on us now to beat Roma at home. If we cant beat them at home I dont have much hope for the away game, Olimpico will be buzzing...

Two weeks until Roma game, we need to be perfect vs them.

Last thing is how much we were dominated even with them missing their midfield maestro Schweinsteiger, also MArtinez and their left back played midfielder and Lahm who is a right back.
Also Ribery out, Robben out for 75 minutes.
Its like when we dont have Aguero, Silva, Yaya.

And still if Hart is a little bit worse its decided lot sooner...

Yaya was crap. Should've got a penalty on Silva but Bayern easily could have got one too so that doesn't bother me, Yaya's performance did

Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, struggled not sure what people actually expect playing the German Champions at their place

But they all have a pretty easy group and i have reservations regarding us playing roma seeing the form they are in..

Extremely disappointed.

Bayern aren't that great and definitely won't win the tournament on that showing. We were way below par and yet they still huffed and puffed their way to a stuffy 1-0 win.

What we are still doing wrong is going into these Cl games v 'bigger' sides and showing far to much respect, being far to submissive, conceding far to much territory and trying to be something we're not.

As a team we just don't impose ourselves and we're still giving off a vibe that we're somewhat 'in awe' of the opposition and aren't actually allowed to have a proper go at them.

Until we grow some hair on our bollocks it simply won't change.


Play wise Yaya was a fucking liability. The kid clearly isn't 'fit' and clearly has zero defensive understanding at this level. This left Fernandino exposed to fuck for the whole time. The amount of work he has to get through is ridiculous.

Sagna was also incredibly poor. There were times when he looked so one footed he looked like he'd been on the piss before kick off.

I thought Joe Hart had his finest game in a city shirt since Dortmund at home 2 seasons back. Made some cracking saves and looked excellent.

The rest were very 'blah' imo. Not one of them played as we know they can.

Nailed on penalty on Silva (Bentaia) btw. Absolutely diabolical (bent?) decision by a ref who was right there.

Similar performance to last season's victory different result. Roma isn't going to be easy but they are beatable.

Unlucky? On another night we'd have got hammered. Whatever about getting team selection wrong there's a chance to rectify it at half time. Instead we went completely into our shell and defended deeper and deeper. I mean, our tactics in Europe haven't looked like getting us to the latter stages thus far let alone win it. We are carrying players in every game now. If they don't want to pay for City well then drop the cnuts. When everyone's fit we need to play the two Brazilians in midfield. At least you'll get an honest effort from them!

Usually after a defeat I either fuming or down. Tonight I not arsed.

This competition is not for City. We will never be allowed to compete on an even playing field. Bookings, 50/50 decisions and penalties go against us time and time again.
