Be warned: Dzeko has no/little pace

BTW, who is Man City's primary playmaker?
David Silva :)

BTW, did anyone mention Dzeko's a striker that is ambidextrous.

i don't see how his ability to write with both hands will come in "handy" though... ;)

a few things to add

Balotelli can not play with Tevez and Dzeko together, I don't see it working well.

What I see is Dzeko and Tevez playing something like Berbatov and Rooney. Tevez right behind Dzeko, while Dzeko will benefit from picking up a lot of tip ins.

Disagree.

I've been saying this for two years now:

------Hart-----
--4 defenders--
-----De Jong---
---YaYa--------
-------Tevez---
Silva-------Balo
----Dzeko------

United played exactly this formation and won every cup in site. Tevez played that position with Rooney where Dzeko is, Giggs on the left and Ronaldo on the right both cutting in. At times, Rooney went left, and they'd put Berbatov up front, with Tevez behind him.

It's the way forward in football, and Mancini knows it

Well you've been wrong for 2 years then. That is a disgusting team, totally unbalanced. Tevez and Silva would be doing exactly the same thing there. Tevez is not an attacking midfielder, he's a striker, it's that simple. Some strikers like to come deep and collect the ball, our Carlos does it because he feels the men behind him aren't creating enough and he takes it upon himself to create. I wish he'd just play CF and stay there as he's a much better player when he does.

EPIC, EPIC FAIL. BERBATOV DID NOT PLAY FOR UNITED IN 07/08 LMAOOOOOOOO.

When will it be OK to write Dzeko off entirely? I was waiting until 10 minutes into his debut, unless he has a hat trick by that point, but quite fancy kick starting the 'Dzeko is shit' bandwagon a little early.

Premier League title chasers City appear to have won the race for the 24-year-old and Wolfsburg coach McClaren is confident Dzeko will be a hit in England.

"He will be ideal for City, especially alongside Carlos Tevez," said the former England boss in the Daily Mirror. "That will be a very potent partnership, very strong.

"I wish him well and hope he fulfils his dream and potential there.

"He is a very, very good player and that is reflected in the price.

"He is a big lad, strong and quick too. He also has good technique.

"But most importantly he is a goalscorer who gets them with his left foot, his right foot, his head. That is what City are getting. He is a good buy for them."

Oh dear `arry !! Wrong on so many counts !!!

A classic fox in a box is what im expecting.

Bleeding big 'fox'.........................large bear?

Mclaren's last comment was sounding an alarm bell with me, far more than the 'no pace' angle. He suggested he was lazy too.
Forgive me, but dont we already have a couple of those?
