Bellamy on his future (and the fall out) {merged}

Re: Bellamy on his future

Bellamy played out of his skin last year. But this is a guy who changes clubs every year.

4 strikers needed in the 25. Ade, Tevez, Balotelli look like three of them.

It now looks more likely that Jo is the 4th. Personally would have kept Craig but this type of public stuff on Sky is not what we need.

Nedum is not good enough.

Ireland is a squad player but he probably wants first team football.

As for the keepers one has to go. We can't keep them both happy.

Re: Bellamy on his future

I think he'll be allowed to leave if he's not required, would be a good squad player nothing more, had a good half season then sporadic good performances, but I think he's fondly remembered for his away derby performance and chelsea away as what he was always like.

Good service, got the best out of him but I won't be overly saddened if he went, ultimately dispensable.

I honestly don't see what Craig has done wrong. He was asked questions and he answered them honestly. He still wants to play for City

I think you're being naiive. He's called an interview with Sky Sports News to air his greivances with the club. He should not be giving negative views on the club to the media while still employed by us, whether they are his honest opinions or not.
wrong, the questions were asked at a wales football conference, theres a friendly tomorrow

My apologies, that makes everything he has said alright.

Re: Bellamy on his future

i think its refreshing to hear a player airing his views, with the intention of wanting to remain at the club, bellamy only spoke honestly and as some have already said,he had'nt spoke to mancini for 6 months, but also said this was the case with hughes and o'neill,i doubt players get involved in long confervsations with managers at all clubs, they are there to do a job not talk about what fcuking colour the wife wants the living room painted...

No it just makes you wrong. There's actually no point in arguing with you because you won't see any other point of view. I've just had a quick look at your posting history and you really have an agenda against Bellamy. It seems to stem from your love of all thinks Robbie and Bellamy outperforming him and getting all the praise your darling Robbie should have got. Did you only become a City fan when he signed ?

It makes him wrong in terms of a minor detail of the argument. He's still generally right, Bellamy should not have gone on TV and said those things, he should have gone to the management at City and had it out with them.

Why not? He didn't slag the club off. He even said he wanted to fight for his place.

Really, that's what you got from that interview? I'm astonished. I think Shaelumstash was right, some people are being incredibly naive if they think that interview wasn't very negative about the club and effectively Bellamy agitating for a move. Bellamy is a clever bloke so he didn't just come out and say, "the people at the club are twats and I want a move" but frankly, he may as well have done.

Re: Bellamy on his future

everyone knows bellamy can be aright c**t at times, but his workrate, desire and passion are second to none imo,he has stated his desire to want to stay and fight for his place in the 25, and for me thats good enough...
