Bellamy - Stalybridge

Very do able, just needs Bert to change his attitude towards players who have not been very complimentary. Prem league squad is not a problem the real problem is the CL squad where you have to fit in four players from the clubs own academy. This is an example squad taken from the official site but it is based on the fact that Tevez is not with us. (I heard one of the other reasons is that Tevez and Bellamy don't get on)

Key

H = Players from our academy who are over 21, there is NO point filling these compulsory places with under 21s they can go on a B list. If you don't fill them you lose them. (Must have a MINIMUM of 4)
A = Players from other Academies from same association as we are affiliated to (FA/Prem) (Must have a MINIMUM of 4)
F = Foreign players.

Goal Keepers (Have to have 3)
1) Joe Hart (A)
2) Stuart Taylor (A)
3) Promote an Academy goalkeeper (H)
(To comply with minimum of 3)

4) A Kolorov (F)
5) V Kompany (F)
6) J Lescott (A)
7) M Richards (H)
8) K Toure (F)
9) P Zabaletta (F)
10) G Clichy (A) (He has spent at least 3 years in Gooners academy therefore classed as though english)
11) S Savic (F) (Although under 21 he hasn't been at our club 2 years and has to go on A list
12)

Midfield

13) G. Barry (A)
14) A Johnson (A)
15)
16) NDJ (F)
17) J Milner (A)
18) D Silva (F)
19) Y Toure (F)
20) SWP (H)
21) V Weiss (H)

Forwards

22) E Dzeko (F)
23) Balotelli (F) Although under 21 hasn't been at club 2 years has to go on A list)
24)
25)

If M Johnson is right and he is not going to be included in 25 man squad and we include an academy keeper to make up the 4 club trained players to give us max 25 man squad we have available 4 more berths to fill. If we sign Aguero and Nasri or Sneijder still leaves two berts. Which could be taken up by Bellamy and one other. However if Tevez stays and is included that reduces to just one spot, ie Bellamy can then be included. If Bert decides not to promote an academy keeper but bring up a back up for Hart it means another academy spot must be filled in outfield play, if he does a U turn on Ned and Tevez stays, there will be no space for Bellamy, however if Tevez goes there is still a berth for him. In other words it is all down to Mancini and whether he wants Bellamy at the club.

Would love Bellers to stay. With the likes of Ade and RSC we can get a decent amount of money for them but if we get rid of Bellamy its either going to be on loan again or for a minimal fee. It would cost us a lot more to replace him with another squad player so i say keep him until his contract is up because he will always give 100%.

wish balo had 20 per cent of bellers drive and commitment both a bit cracked and not great for the dressing room i would have bellers in the 25 if probs ship him out in Jan

Only mancini's stubbornness will stop bellamy from being here next season.

It would be wrong of Mancini to completely ignore bellamy now, he will be more effective than swp and Weiss on the wings as a sub and deserves a 2nd chance.

The way he conducts himself is class, ala the fulham game on sky.

If Mancini has Sanchez wrapped up then Bellamy will be gone, but if not Craig could be given a platform to shine again

U mention Sanchez why ?

No, no, no. 2-3 weeks ago he gave an interview slagging Mancini off to no end. Now he's a class act? I'm sorry but come on. He's too old for us now and he's burnt his bridges completely. He'll never be seen in the first team again, and for good reason.

I went to the game last night and at the end of half-time Bellamy came over to speak to someone behind the goal. Looked like he was trying to explain himself to someone who had given him a bit of stick?

Just wondered what was being said? At one point he rubbed his fingers together as if he was talking about money...

Not sure what to think about him at the moment..

Not sure what to think about him? He's barking mad is what he is . . talented, fragile, overly aggressive and the centre of his own attention = a very volatile mix.
If he were to be stuck on his own on a desert island he'd end up chinning himself for want of another target . . if he were stuck there long enough (and if his knees were up to it) he'd lose it entirely and kick himself to death.

That's Craig for ya.

He was the perfect pro last night.Did all the pre match preparation work, worked hard all the 60 minutes he played, always looking to get on the ball to make things happen, scored a very good goal, set another up and was always talking to and helping the younger players.

Pity a thread like this comes up so somebody can throw their pre conceived negative thoughts around as some like to do.

This ^^
