I'd like us to sign him, but I do worry we'd be a bit lightweight in midfield.

There's a reason why so many people wanted us to sign De Rossi or Javi Martinez in the summer. We do need a ball winning midfielder in there. We had a world class tackler in De Jong, but he wasn't world class on the ball.

I see Benat more as an improved version of Barry. He's an incredible passer of the ball, great vision, super little player. I just feel we wouldn't have a real holding midfield player with Benat and Yaya playing. Every big team has one. Barca have Busquets, Madrid have Khedira, Bayern have Javi Martinez.

Agree with this if we signed Benat I would still feel we would need a De Rossi type player to go alongside him.

Your conclusion is correct,there are many clueless on here,some were even saying to sell Garcia when we've only just signed him and he's had about 8 games.

I wouldn't say Dzekos been a failure as he has scored some crucial goals in helping us the win the title but for 27 million I expected much more, our style of play and rotation hasn't helped him so I wouldn't call him a success either. Balotelli I would definitely call a failure just my opinion but he is just nuisance to our team and our winning percentage with him playing shows this.

He is very creative, but he plays from a deeper position. He's a deep-lying playmaker, so we could have Benat's creativity and Silva's creativity on the pitch at the same time. That much creativity could unluck any BPL defense. I think he'd only cost around 15 million too.

His buy-out clause is 16M and if we are to trust the rumours in the pappers we are locked in talks with betis for him...let's hope it's true!!!

i wouldnt be so sure mate, at the minute our players couldnt open a bag of fucking crisps never mind a defence.
