Sorry mate I don't understand your point

What I am trying to say is either a left or right back in a modern footballteam nowadays, and even moreso in a Pep team, is brought in for his attacking qualities. The way we play a left or right back hardly ever needs to defend. So Mendy (or Delph or Zinchenko) can be a liability when it comes to defending, it's more about how good they are providing our midfielders, wingers or giving the assistst themselves. Mendy is one of the best in that, and Zinchenko isn't very bad either.

Sorry, but the nature of the task is twofold. Mendy for me is only a 50% player
 


Played that little for us that the stewards don't even know who he is

Looks to me that they went straight to the ref and linesman and just ran past Mendy! But everyone - including myself - loves a Mendy story so I’ll keep that to myself ;)
 
Love the guy but can't help but feel the transfer hasn't been a great one due to his injuries.
