If he ever gets fit enough to play a substantial run of games it will be interesting to see whether he is the player we thought he was or just an expensive Social Media Specialist..

I never said he was fine defensively, I acknowledged his flaws, just find it laughable that some think we're more defensively sound with Delph and I also believe Mendy gets harsh criticism of his ability just because of his off field antics.

Again, and we don't know, but if people are attributing on field performances to his off field activities, then that is wrong but I don't believe that is the case. For me , Delphi and Mandy are equally poor defensively, which isn't a good shout as that is mendy's position

Agreed. You expect more from mendy as a left back than you do Delph filling in.
