I think it's one of these things where he does one or two popular posts and suddenly it becomes something and everyone jumps on everything he tweets as if it's incredible or unique. Leroy posts his little "inSane" tagline as often as Mendy posts about the Shark Team, but people catch onto Mendy's for whatever reason.

He's also had a few viral moments like running down the touchline on crutches or almost getting tackled by stewards.

The social media stuff is all fine, it's the stuff that we don't see on social media about Pep making him move out of Manchester and into the countryside so he doesn't party so much, or concerns about his little entourage that are much more important.

It always amuses when I see people that claim they don't use social media complain about Mendy using it too much, how would they know?!

I want to see him back to running at full speed.

Imo, he was yards slower, in his last spell.

Without the pace, he is just Kolarov with no shots or free kicks.

With the pace, he is a devastating threat to any opposition.

This is a genuine question as I don't follow any players on social media, is he any worse than other members of the squad in how active he is on social media?

Walker probably posts more than Mendy tbh.

Pep has said he has tried to get him to tone down social media and focus but he can't parent him,hopefully benny has missed playing enough to knuckle down

Whatever the issue, we have to sign another first choice LB in summer. Then those two can fight it out for that spot if Mendy can stay fit.
