He’s poor and has to go and before anyone gets giddy,Zinchenko isn’t the answer neither
Comments like these completely undermine any real criticism of him. He put 2 crosses on an absolute plate tonight for a tap in, and no one went for them. He also was involved in a couple of our most promising attacks in the first half.
He clearly isn't up to the standards of the player we bought from Monaco, but it's pathetic when people get so wrapped up in a mistake that they wipe out the positive contributions as well.

The positive contributions dont mean anything when he literally gifts the opposition a goal though. It's so poor.
Yeah he had a communications breakdown with Gundogan, shit happens. It's not more costly an error than Sterling not passing, or Fernandinho letting them in or Ederson passing straight to Pulisic.

Id say its much more costly when his two mistakes lead to a goal. It's great having a player create chances but if he then undoes that work with moronic defending, then what's the point?

For me it was the decision to try and win the ball back from Pulisic that really annoyed me. It was such a poor decision when he had support catching up.Yeah he had a communications breakdown with Gundogan, shit happens. His mistake cost us a goal, Sterling's mistake cost us a goal.
Why is one more costly?
