It isn’t quite that simple, but his contract didn’t have the necessary small print to stop his wages even though he was unavailable to play due to the FA suspension.Justice prevails!
His wages should hace been paid in full as soon as he was acquitted.

I can see why the club challenged it, but can also see why they lost.
