Usual hatchet job on him on beeb, rehashing the trial. Ostensibly there's nothing wrong with what's written, but it has a very different tone indeed than the puff piece on onana, which predictably glosses over him taking his 'wife's pills'.

Still on the plus side the odious Dan wootton might be taking a career break soon........

I'd agree with this, mainly because he joined only 2 months after Clichy left City, so it's probably technically true.

Always looked poor defensively but going forward looked as though he would provide at least a dozen decent crosses a game . Got everyone excited and then picked the injury up what 3 games in with a stupid tackle? Never seemed to take it seriously enough to knuckle down and never fully recovered. In hindsight a poor signing but can understand why we made it. Don’t wish him ill but won’t look back on his time fondly as I think he largely took the piss up until the court case and arrest. Hopefully realised how fortunate he is to have the opportunity to play football at the level he has and will concentrate on making the best of the time he has left in the game.

Tbf could never decide between Clichy and Kolarov. Different strengths and weaknesses. Both good, not great.

From Shark team to locally sourced Crabs, broke covid, injured more than not ( once after a stupid challenge) . Clearly too much time and £ in Cheshire so a good chance now to rebuild on the promise he clearly showed in glimpses .
