I'm convinced this ones happening. Funny how everybody said Walker would be the most difficult and yet he's done and dusted first after the last few weeks of ups and downs.

If I was guessing I would have said we would be prepared to wait longer had we got Alves but Pep wants a squad he can work with in America and having no full backs meant we couldn't prepare properly for the beginning of the season which meant we were prepared to pay a bit extra for Walker to get him more quickly.

Saw a good point that we could potentially have a big back four now.

Kompany, Stones, Walker and Mendy, with those full backs now adding some much needed height and strength to the team.

We'll end up with a new defensive mid in the same bracket next summer when Yaya leaves us.
