The author of that one has a huge axe to grind with Bercow and is very much a Brexit supporting Tory. Although he calls himself Bercow's biographer, it appears to be from the standpoint of assassinating his character.

I know it's not really to do with politics - although some might argue it is in a way given who part owns it - but have you seen some of the utter shite that The Independent has published relating to our football club? Farage is not even a penny chew Enoch Powell, Powell was an intellectual, a real thinker whose reputation was sullied by the infamous "rivers of blood" speech. Even Thatcher was somewhat in awe of Powell as he was ahead of his time in many ways. He was one of the original Eurosceptics alongside his polar opposite Tony Benn and whilst I don't agree with him on many things he would piss all over most of the useless bunch masquerading as Tories today.

Which reminds me, there is a new book out about him and I must get it. An eminently interesting man, whose views are surprisingly prescient.
