Bercow stepping down

It would be good to see the behaviours of this fella brought out into the open and he not be allowed to just enjoy a life of relaxed preening

Seems an absolute **** of a man and I am surprised he does not have more critics on this forum, which after all is not shy at labelling cunts as cunts generally

As a person he is, and always will be a ****. The **** was the right speaker at the time. He's still a **** mind. But that cuntishness was needed in the role at the time.

Obviously as a Brexit supporter my views on the **** are negative with regard to his role in the last year or so

But my comments on the **** in the post that you replied to are simply comments on the guy as an individual - clearly an utter **** of a man and I would say the same if he was an advocate of Brexit - worthy only of contempt and I would love to see a raft of issues come forward that fully expose his bullying and abusive nature and ruin this image he has created

On Brexit though - I take the view that alls well that ends well and when we look back at how the UK reached a position where we have a government with a massive majority about to enact Brexit and (possibly) achieve a genuine Brexit - this **** joins a long cast of unlikely Brexit heroes/heroines, such as Gina Miller, Corbyn etc. without who's interventions we would not be in this happy place

Still a **** though

He kept the House within the rules and ensured that, as a parliamentary democracy, Parliament was sovereign.

I think he’s a right arrogant **** but he’s the right sort of arrogant **** that was needed at the time.

Johnson has his majority and we’re rightfully leaving, as the country wishes but Johnson did try to play rough shot over the House and Bercow made sure he couldn’t.

You put it better than me.

For me his worst offence (besides his history as a racist and a bully) was to use parliamentary process to feed his ego and generally make it all about him.

what Brexiters fail to acknowledge is if he had transgressed House Rules or heaven forbid the law things would have been different. As he didn't there was nothing they could do - hence the hate - he is seen as a traitor..............on their terms...i.e. didn't agree with them.
