Bernardo Silva - 2018/19 performances

He could be like our Modric,but with extra goal threat, rather than purely D Silva MkII, but seems as if he can also be Silva MkII if we want it.

Imo, he should be considered as the main man in that linkup role between Fernandinho & the attackers & DS/KDB when picked, should be playing around him, not instead of him.

Imo, rather than pushing him out wide, to accomodate them, Pep should position them, to accomodate Bernardo. Or leave one out.

It’s why we’ll eventually pull away from the pack also.... being able to alternate between Kev, Dave and Bernie, without a decline in quality, sets us part.

I think we should have maximum points from the 8 games personally, however, we’re just purring at the moment, I expect come December we’ll have a nice little cushion, ready to push on again, which will be down to the above and our strength in depth!!

I really think we'll have a double digit lead by new years day.

Liverpool just aren't built for the long haul, they can't keep pace with us, just like Klopp's Dortmund, who were a much better side, couldn't keep up with his Bayern.

We have KDB coming in, we have Mendy, we have a defence which is limiting chances on goal to 1 or 2 shots a game from poor positions.

Chelsea are a good side but they will start paying the price for not having a centre forward and the massive drop off from their first XI.

Yep, should be David Bernardo and Kevin in rotation for the two attacking mid spots. I actually would never play Bernardo out wide again, he's so good in the middle.
 
Any truth in Bernie returning early from the Portuguese team ? MEN seem to think he won’t be playing in the match against Scotland.

On his French:

I speak everyday with Benjamin (Mendy), Vincent (Kompany), (Eliaquim) Mangala, Kevin (De Bruyne), Riyad (Mahrez).

Nobody knew that he was going to do what has done as quickly as he has done it. From the first training session with him, you could see how he touched the ball, how he went past defenders. You could see he was a different player. His first important match as against Manchester City, I think people will remember that game. He won the World Cup, he was maybe the best French player. I don’t think he will win the Ballon D’Or this year, but in a few years. I think it will be either Modric or Cristiano.

Is there any more great things to say about Bernie, he speaks good English, hes very meticulous, intelligent, a brilliant footballer, and best of all he just gets on with it, no moaning about this or that, such a loveable guy.
