It’s why we’ll eventually pull away from the pack also.... being able to alternate between Kev, Dave and Bernie, without a decline in quality, sets us part.

I think we should have maximum points from the 8 games personally, however, we’re just purring at the moment, I expect come December we’ll have a nice little cushion, ready to push on again, which will be down to the above and our strength in depth!!

In June I had us taking it by 7 points. The books had us at 6.5 when the season started. I think ~9 is fair at this point and I'd take the over on that. I think we've been rather average and we've had our best player out for the season.

Leroy, GJ, and Mahrez have yet to contribute at anything close to fair + accurate expectation levels and there hasn't been a player in the squad that's playing over it.

Our schedule has been difficult with 3 away games vs top 7 sides taken care of.

Mendy is the best in the world (under my considerations and I'll defend that vehemently) and he hasn't even really had a chance to settle in.

Honestly, we're not even playing for the league. We're fighting for an undefeated league record and shooting for three trophies with a CL semi mandatory. That's the challenge and barometer.

I'd be absolutely stunned if we don't buy Frenkie or Ndombele in January. A fernandinho injury is the only 'risk' we have.

Yeah, I’d seen the second tweet. That was why I was confused. No doubt it will be clearer tomorrow after Peps press conf. Hope the boy is ok. He has been our most stand out consistent performer this year.
