I said it elsewhere,Liverpool will have the greater physicality,we can do nothing about that,so we have to find a counter tactic.Playing the two Silva's will mean we retain far more possession,and dictate the tempo,we can then use our width/pace to wear them down and hopefully nullify their industry.

Bernardo is proving even better than i imagined.Its a moot comment,but i wouldnt sell him at any price.

Agree. Fed up reading about physicality and playing double defensive pivots against Henderson and Milner. Play our most skillful players and don't give the ball away, and Bernardo is one of the most skillful we've ever had.

He is genuinely a scary talent. Flair coming out of his Portugese ears. Plant him in the team and watch the garden blossom. For everyone that has come and gone since the takeover, he is easily the most talented with the ball. Makes Robinho look like one of those Youtube keepy-uppy 'sensations'. He even makes David look (just a little) boring, a one trick trap, pivot and pass player. Makes KDB look like a bit of a posh-man's Gerrard.

I hope Pep plays him inside of Sterling where he can do most damage. Both Silva's can cause some damage today, and I have a good gut feeling they will.

I was a bit concerned his physicality and positioning would be an issue today.

But wow. Occasional lapses and misplaced passes aside, he really impressed me. Pep was wise to let him be more involved than David, as Bernardo has great energy to evade the press.

The weird thing is, is that like David and KDB last season, you can see he's still integrating to the CM role. I don't think we've seen anywhere near his true best yet.
