He's a gestifute player. Mendes is a prick. Any time you read things like this it's from the agent, leveraging a better deal or looking to fill his pockets with a transfer.

Love him, but he's been shocking this season. Biggest drop in performance level in the whole squad when you consider how good he was last year.

Opportunity doesn't necessarily mean the first time a club like Real Madrid puts a bid in. If they made for example made a bid in the next proper transfer window I would hardly expect Bernardo to want to leave.
