Reply to my complaint about Sky's post match stage managed interviews
Hi George
Thank you for getting in touch and providing your views. We appreciate all feedback and comments from our viewers at Sky.
Sky Sports provided the views of Manchester City through interviews with Pep Guardiola and Raheem Sterling, then the panel including Victor Anichebe gave their personal opinions on the matter.
Kelly Cates provided the questions and guided the debate on a sensitive issue, one that Victor feels strongly about as he made clear at the start of the discussion.
It was a balanced debate but like all subjects discussed the guests are there to give their opinion, and then explain it for the benefit of the viewers.
The context of describing conversations between Victor and his ‘white’ friends was to explain why, in his view, there is a difference between private jokes and sharing them on a social platform that millions of people can see.
Thank you for your views and sharing them with us, but we stand by the broadcast and specifically the balanced coverage of this specific talking point.
Kind regards
Robin

Your TV treatment of Man City staff after tonight’s game was blatantly racist and utterly reprehensible.
A continuous hatchet job lining up smear after smear to follow interviews given in good faith.
Who do you think you are? I will take my complaint about this disgusting witchhunt to both the CRE and OfCom

More on Bernardo Silva. A very confused story. It's a distraction from racism, and then at the same time degrading.
Communciation such as this can be designed to be degrading but this was not.

Surprised the scouse idiot didn’t spit at him as wellWord for word the same as mine but they did not address Victor’s “Angry Little Irishman” racist comment or Carragher’s trousers comment to Lescott. So escalated my complaint.
Yeah a sensible idea, they know the kid,so do we,he is no racistBy the way Portugal seems to have different ideas when it comes to racism or racial awareness so naturally a Portuguese club would defend it.
