IMO They should be made to pay the money they owe before spending another euro.
Tough shit if they fuckoff into oblivion

So there is no issue with them 'owing' us money then. It is proceeding as per the transfer agreement.
I highly doubt that we are that accommodating :)I’d presume so but the club owed money has to complain for it to be an issue for that club and uefa and we know how accommodating we are.. once Ferran went it showed up in our books anyway of €55m..
I think its seems more likely he stays for each day that goes by. Barca are completely broke and actually thought we would LOAN him out. PSG who according to various reports have him as "their number 1 target" have already signed 6 players but are yet to even contact us about him. Then there is Saudi, who have signed pretty much half of the footballers in the world but still haven't even contacted us about Bernardo. With both Gundo and Mahrez going, I would assume Pep are even more determined to keep him now. Based on nothing more than a feeling I think its more likely he stays than leaves, at least at this moment in time.Another summer and he’s not going anywhere because imo. Will be lucky to get the PSG or Saudi move. Let’s see who puts up the €80m
Yeah it’s a bit odd isn’t it.That's exactly what is they are doing - paying to a pre-agreed schedule.
My point was that quite a few posters seem to be under the impression that Barca aren't doing that but instead they are refusing to pay up.
For once, I am happy and relieved to be able to share the obvious ;).

For 50 minutes in his first game with the Chavs, before he got red carded, he looked sublime. After his suspension and when Frank came in, he looked shit or sat on the bench. There is a footballer in there. I hope his career isn't wasted. I'd take him on a loan or cut rate deal. After he has pretty much flopped at Chelsea?
Though i guess the counter argument is that everyone was shit for Chelsea last year as they were a mess!
If we don't wish to sell to another PL team (and presumably he wouldn't want to stay in England anyway), there are very few teams left to sell to that could afford more than that plus his wages. Maybe PSG and Real Madrid would be the only ones and perhaps they don't need a player in his position at present.I can’t get my head around a player of Bernardo Silva’s quality only commanding an £68m transfer fee. Baffling, utterly baffling!
United spent £82m on Antony.
How about a player of Alvarez's quality only commanding an £14m fee but Chelsea spending 88m on Mudryk.I can’t get my head around a player of Bernardo Silva’s quality only commanding an £68m transfer fee. Baffling, utterly baffling!

I don't feel sorry for him at all. Bernardo signed a contract. We are within our rights to hold him to that contract.I have a mixed feeling. On the one hand, I feel sorry for Bernie if we more or less force him to stay while he still wants to leave and on the other, can't help feeling relieved. Still I wonder if the club would let him go if there is a decent offer coming for him this summer.
Unless theres a clause stating he can leave when he wants or else he has to fulfill his contract obligation. Don’t think city is a hostage fc in anyway like the fax machine rags.I don't feel sorry for him at all. Bernardo signed a contract. We are within our rights to hold him to that contract.
