Bernardo Silva

IMO this is a very naive policy from the club.

80m is an unfathomably, stupidly low price for a player of Bernardo's stature.

If it were the other way round and he was on sale we'd be expected to pay 150m+ for that kind of player.
That was the fee coming out of Spurs’ sources last Summer for Kane.

No idea why our players are rated so low in transfer terms.

Look at the Sterling sale. If we were buying a player who’d scored 131 goals in the last seven years for, say, Madrid, we’d be looking at stumping up £110m for him… maybe £95m as he was entering the last year of his contract. Yet we sold him to Chelsea for just £50m.

Then you get Chelsea buying a player who’d only ever played for Eibar, Getafe and Brighton with just one year’s experience in the Prem and only one Spain cap, for £62m!

Romeros story seems to be Barca wishcasting their ideal version of events. They’d like to pay 45 so they till their press guys it’s gonna be 45 and hope that manifests it into reality. It won’t.

genius, pep decided to use Neymar’s diving to his advantage and play him in goal, now ederson is free to rip up the mid!!

Have Barca even paid us the amount they owe for Ferran Torres? I hope we’re not accepting another bid with instalments from them with them not having the intentions of paying the amount in probably next 10 years

Seriously though Neymar would be a monstrous addition to this team on the wing. He would be both another target for our new system of "pack all the playmakers into the middle and ping balls behind for Haaland" and a supplier.

Neymar - Haaland - Foden

Gundo/Grealish - Rodri - KDB

Would be potentially the scariest midfield and attack assembled since Xavi-Busquets-Iniesta, Neymar-Suarez-Messi

It would also be hilarious seeing a sizeable part of the fanbase having to do a 180 and start liking him, and seeing him generally dispel some of the nonsense people come up with about him.
There has to someone younger, cheaper and less egotistical.

I'd honestly rather have Jarrod Bowen than Neymar. The problems Neymar comes with are not worth it. He's a bellend.

Imagine playing against Liverpool at Anfield with Grealish, Haaland and Neymar in the team. None of those combined offer us the pressing ability of 1 Bernardo Silva.
