Pedri is special.No chance.
Valverde is a great athlete but Pedri is the superior footballer.

It would be an increase of length also I think mate.
If he signs a new contract means he will stay longer which is brilliant but seems weird that he wanted to leave for the last 2/3 years but now happy to sign a new improve contract? Oh are we just doubling his wages and still only has two years left?
No I think any contract would almost by default be an extension, as opposed to just a pay rise.
I can see why he would take it, even if he wanted to leave. If you think of all the extra money he has missed out on, while waiting for Barcelona to back their promises (while signing other players). And has stayed committed and put everything into it on the pitch. I think it is pretty much a case of the club happy to reward that because he has deserved it, him accepting he might as well take the money while here, and probably a mutual understanding that the club won't increase the asking price for him should Barcelona or someone he fancies joining come in for him. At the same time lets the club still insist on a reasonable fee. Just my reading of it.
Simple really, because he never signed contract extension on the tableHow was one of, if not the most important player in the last 7 years earning less than Grealish...
I was referring to Ansu Fati thoughI think Valverde is better than pedri

Reading between the lines, I think he wanted to go to specifically Barcelona or Real Madrid. Real simply don’t need him. Or are saving their money for other targets..
Barcelona are a basket case of a club, with no money.,
If he wanted better weather and Spanish lifestyle, PSG is no closer to that than Manchester.
If he’s staying, it’s fantastic news.
Agree.Reading between the lines, I think he wanted to go to specifically Barcelona or Real Madrid. Real simply don’t need him. Or are saving their money for other targets..

Because they know he only wants BarçaFantastic news if true, what I find weird is there hasn’t been a long line of clubs sniffing round him to sign him, Barcelona have made glances but probably couldn’t stump up the money City want. Why has no it be else, he is one of the hardest working midfielders in world football with his ability to run all game.

Maybe he just good at the negotiation table, never intended on leaving but was looking after himself and knows his value which was not where he thought it wasReading between the lines, I think he wanted to go to specifically Barcelona or Real Madrid. Not swapping Phil for anyone let alone a kid that would for 6 months then get homesickPedri is Gaurdiola's wet dream. I would straight swap him for anyone in the squad bar Haaland, and probably Phil. Cracking player.
Then we agree mate. Not swapping Phil for anyone let alone a kid that would for 6 months then get homesick
