Bernado must really be unhappy at City if he is considering joining Barcelona. What must he think about City that he'd rather play years of his career there? He's got perhaps 4 or 5 years at the top level left and he'd rather play in that team (if he got registered) than in ours?

Signed them, sure. But have they actually paid for any of them?
Considering Leeds, Chelsea, Bayern,we (for Torres deal), Sevilla don't run charity , I guess they expect money to be paid?

I really dont want to speculate on Barca finances. Bernardo interview was clear. He doesn't rule out anything. He is happy to stay if our demands aren't met & deal doesn't happen . he is also happy to leave if deal does happen.

Clearly Barcelona won't pay what we want. Even if they sell De Jong. Question is will Bernado go into a sulk and not give his all this season. He makes the right noises about being committed but I just wonder whether he will. If I was in a job that I really didn't want to do, I'm not sure I'd be fired up
After reading the article, the club and him seem to have discussed it and both know the score.
He talks about us, we and the goals for the season, i do not doubt that he will be totally committed to the cause.

You should read the article to reassure yourself

The rubbish on twitter is unbelievable. These supposedly in the know transfer people make stories up left right and centre. Who are these city fan sites like city zone, giving part quotes and making a sensational story out of it? Anyway, reading between the lines, he wants to go but is happy to stay, so it's up to arselona to put in a proper bid, which they haven't done as yet.

He's earned everyone's respect on and off the pitch since he's been here.

If people want to make that respect conditional on the basis that he wants to spend his entire career in Manchester then that's an opinion and level of entitlement that I can't get behind.
Sorry but I disagree TOC.
The Dippers don`t respect him after he failed to clap or acknowledge the wonderful manner in which they won the PL in their history.
It will live forever live in my memory that he loved his cup of tea more than clapping those shit houses. ;)

Be a sad day when Bernie does leave

No one can replicate what he offers

We can look at different players but it will be like replacing Vimpto with

Have you been to Barcelona ? Beautiful City Weather, Girls and Food ! He is not a lifelong City supporter like us - quality of life and maybe feels time for a change - nice environment to bring up a family
