This will be one long and demanding season and since our squad is relatively small, we can't afford to loose him. Guordiola should put an end to speculations in the next presser
It's not Pep's call is it?

The player wants to leave and appears to have been told he can for the right price and if we can get a replacement in.

I wasn't exactly stating they were exactly alike, just that it reminds me of it.

In light of the reports from Pol and Mullock, the things that stick out are that the buying club's aligned journalists are adamant that negotiations are underway, that it would happen at X amount etc whereas the journalists for the selling club are reporting that nothing is happening at the moment and nothing would happen without a mammoth bid. In that, the situations are very similar.

Which journalists 'aligned' with our club claimed Kane would be done or claimed a price it would be done for? Same with Cucurella.

Putting aside ITK claims, general opinions and pure guesswork, what actual club related pieces were there? What did Txiki, Pep or any of our players say about Kane or Cucurella. Even when there was speculation, it came from the players' entourage or via agent links.

Barcelona have had daily stories, from regular mouthpieces, Laporta on quite a few occasions, etc.

The things that make them similar, are broadly similar with almost every transfer.

It was never realistically going to happen this window.
It was the perfect opportunity for the usual negative, miserable arses to tell us over and over that we are Barcalonas woman and other such shite but as a club we aren't stupid and we certainly deserve more credit than is afforded by sections of this forum.
Has the transfer window closed already?

why worry?

If he wants out and to that shit show, good luck to him, wonderful player but there are plenty more out there.
We won't purposely handicap ourselves.
Barcelona can't afford him, we won't sell him for less than our asking price.
So you're correct in one way, there's no need to worry.

Obviously we won't sell him below our asking price but if it's met he will be sold.
