All business do it, how much cash do you think a lot of multi national companies have to hand? For a vast majority, very little.

Even with ourselves, a couple of years ago we took out a huge loan for "infrastructure projects for the CFG"

FFP is a crock, we all know what it was brought in and we know why it's failed and completely revised.
Without FFP the world of football would have been a lot different. But they had to have a control over their "reigns".

Barcelona is like a crack head promising it's the last time. 3,4 years down the line the process will repeat itself.

Bernardo going there would have been painful as fuck, but again, it remains a mystery to me, why so many players have chosen to join that shithouse.

Probably promises regarding the Super League.

Barcelona is a still a huge, iconic club that a vast majority of players would love to play for, the Barcelona board/ethics are a joke and a scandal.

If Bernardo stays that will feel like a new signing

Phillips replaces an ageing Fern

New number 2 keeper, good position to rotate and keep fresh

The best young striker in the world and possibly/potentially the best in South America

A young full back who looks like he has a lot of assists in him (YouTube I know!)

Kept hold of 4 centre backs

Lost 2 players who were in the last year of their contracts and a great squad player who needed more game time elsewhere, decent money received for all 3

A few youngsters coming through

A happy window for me, whilst dippers look to be missing mane (and a midfield) and have a nutter up front, rags a laughing stock, chelsea throwing money but seemingly without a striker or a coherent plan. I think us, spurs and arsenal have all progressed well, the other 3 haven’t

oh i wasnt claiming that every journalist grabbed info from here mate, it was more the context that we had offered bernardo a pay rise and extended terms and its now been reported that this could be a possibility?

That's cool, I've just seen the Romano narrative spiraling out of control a bit over the last few weeks and thought this was an offshoot of that.
