We need a defender who can play cb/fb and a athletic CM player, an injury to Guno/Rodri and the season is done for me.
Earlier talk on here about the kids filling in at LB/RB and CB were and are utter nonsense, same with Palmer, great prospect but we need much more.
One huge positive, Alvarez looks very special to be, we may well have secured a real diamond there.

What are the odds of Bernardo and Frenkie de Jong swap?
They’re not like for like and I rather Bernardo stays, but what are the other options available that wouldn’t drag beyond the transfer window?

Always seems injured to me and a second touch is a tackle type player. Never seems composed..but could be wrong here. I hope so.How much did injury hamper his Leeds appearances? Seems to be either unlucky since he joined or prone. I always saw his as a terrier in the Leeds midfield.

I think Bernado is being a bit selfish here. We made him a superstar get tge move nect yesr with a full seasonto plan for a replacement. Days left in tge window is very hsrsh on us. Silva should respect that really and stay and helo us. I hear he is in Rodri's house atm. Move by the club to help him? I love him as a pkayer butIt really would be the biggest fuck up for some time if he was allowed to leave with days left in the window and we have no replacement lined up. That's why I can't see it happening but these latest quotes from Pep are very odd

I don't want Bernardo to go but FDJ looks a quality player and very much a City type player.

Now we just need to start bringing him on when needing a winning goal with some 10 minutes to play and 4 substitutions left to use.
