Bernardo Silva

News yesterday was that it depended on Barca making a big sale. Perhaps a big, Fati one.

Anyone like Fati?

Now I know people say this but a lad who works with my mate in spiningfield bumped into Berny in town today and got his picture, asked if he is leaving and he said nope.

I have not seen said picture but my mate isn't a wind up merchant and one to talk bollocks in these situations
Fair enough, but even if everything happened as your guy said it did, what else could he have said to a City fan...

'You know what, I'm trying to get the fuck out of here... Wanna take a pic?'

Nope was the polite answer to give no matter what his plans were.

Now you lot, you see, that’s proper ITK information from the horses mouth. It’s %100, not cat in hells chance bollox opinions. That’s info to rely on. Consider me reassured and I can now plan other targets for the rebuilding……
If he said he was leaving would your mate have nutted him? Think under the circs he gave the correct safe answer until he is departures lounge

Barcelona still owe us for Ferran Torres so that won't be an option anytime soon. They can pull as many levers they want. More than likely we will let him leave on a free in a couple of seasons time.

Is there a reason why City hasn't moved to make Barca live up to their agreement? Surely, FIFA would sanction them for not fulfilling the contract on the transfer fee. They made Cardiff pay the transfer fee of a guy who died in a plane crash.

As established a while back on this thread (see my posts on the matter and various replies) Barca are paying the Torres fee at the agreed schedule. The notion that they can just pay us whenever it suits / never is ridiculous. Football debts are the apex no no and if they weren't doing so they would be in a whole world of trouble with FIFA & a worldwide ban on signing new players would ensue for starters.

Probably further down the line if they don't cough up

Wonder if the fact Felix is going to Barca on loan will cool their interest in Bernardo?
They were never going to get Bernardo anyway. The don't have any money. They only way for them to make it happen is to offer us FDJ (but FDJ doesn't want to leave).

Realistically, the only viable option for Bernie to get away is to go to Saudi, and we will be pushing very hard for him to stay as well.
