R.I.P Bert - Forever remembered and a Blue Legend

Although I never saw him play, he's a hero of mine for what he achieved with City.

I hope the club do something to commemorate him and ensure his legend continues forever.

The word 'legend' is used too frequently in my view, but in Bert's case, 'Legend' doesn't come close. An absolute gentleman also, I was very fortunate to meet him a couple of years ago.

A very sad day for Manchester City and for football.

Went to his testimonial match in 1964, remember it like it was yesterday, and met the great man at his book signing at the Etihad a couple of years ago.......
