Best concert you've ever attended...

James The Ritz 1988

I never saw James live which is frustrating because they're a band I love and still listen to. Tim Booth was way more talented than he ever got credit for IMO.

After their comeback tour they did a couple of more low-key gigs in Manchester two years running just before Christmas, both gigs were stunning

I'm hoping they'll play again in the next few years. I won't be missing it this time if they do!

been to a few but the first was status quo in 1976 at Bridlington spa hall, didn't know what to expect but it was fantastic and very loud.

Saw Quo in Leicester at `Granby(?) Hall late 70's and then at the Milton Keynes Bowl early 80's, loved both shows

Best ever gig was Dead Kennedys at the mayflower in hulme - poss 81 or 82 ish. Just awsome.

Best recent gig was Jazzhands at Kendal calling. Three drummers, bass, sax and a gimp in a balaclava with a cow bell...

From what I gather they are supposed to be releasing a new ablum and touring in 2014. They are still excellent live and are still releasing some excellent studio stuff, much better than some of the material they recorded just prior to splitting imo.

Autechre at Tiger Tiger Printworks. Awful chavvy venue but they don't gig often

Squarepusher at Warehouse Project.

2 Tone tour in 1979,The Specials AKA,Selecter, and Madness.
A line up and a half, even managed to get served in the boozer behind the Apollo and I looked about 8.
The Stone Roses at the Empress Ballroom Blackpool.
Brian Wilson,State Theatre Sydney;his voice was fucked but what a backing band (Mint 400),and his set list was impressive to say the least. What was even better was Australia's Mr.Football(Les Murray),getting dogs abuse off a couple of pissed up jocks and having to grin and bear it.
Supergrass;Metro theatre Sydney ,they really surprised me as they weren't meant to be that good according to my mate.
