not only a great goal but a headed goal that was like a bullet
[86/87] Mick McCarthy vs Manchester Utd, Oct 26th 1986
Same feelings bout McCarthy... watching this video, know that Im feckin getting old... first kit i was wanted to buy but no money, like always those days....Always liked Mick McCarthy as a player for us, liked him as wolves manager as well, no nonsense and always came across as an honest guy. Oh and yes, a great goal, puts him in my legends category automatically as he scored against the rags!!!
f/f to 34 seconds and just drink in this one:
[89/90] Chelsea v Manchester City, Oct 28th 1989 - YouTube
...wrongly disallowed....Tiatto’s disallowed one!
Can't remember us winning something those days, but who cares now?.... We was there when we were shit, and after all we r Manchester city from Maine Road...Didn't win goal of the season; lost out to some routine but spectacular volley
Clive Allen at Chelsea wasn’t half bad …
A bit frosty outside later as well…
He doesn’t realize Kolarov is indicating 6, and thinks it’s just a thumbs up at first!!My favourite part about Dzeko’s celebration is when he turns to Kolarov, I’m sure he has to ask him how many it is.
Besides City...thisRod Marsh scored crackers in two successive home games. I saw the first and heard the second - another commitment within earshot of Maine Road.
Kinky's goal v. Southampton is my City favourite but I have to come back to this:
even the ref applauded!

These 2 team goals weren't shoddy either
