Best individual performance

Been mentioned on here but Silva at Hull blew my mind, what a player. Tevez against Stoke too. Micah against United in one of his first games aswell

It's been a slow newsweek, a post by @schfc6 on another thread got me thinking:

What's the best individual performance you've ever seen from a City player?

In no particular order I'd mention:

Wanchope away at Leeds

Bernabia away at Sheffield Wednesday

Silva away at West Brom and Hull

Hart away to Barca, home against Dortmund.

Yes to all of those (especially Benarbia at Sheff Weds), plus:

Berkovic at home to Norwich

Kinkladze at home to Newcastle, and away at both Oxford and Southend

Hart away at Spurs in a 0-0

The Goat at Burnley

Sergio away at Spurs when he went off after 20 minutes (the best 20 minute cameo ever)!

Paul Stewart at home to Bradford

Paul Lake in a 4-0 defeat at Arsenal. The rest of the team was dogshit. Lakey was majestic

Good shout on all the above.

One game I remember is when we beat Spurs at WHL in a night game a few years ago. Sergio was outstanding, he ripped them apart.

Great shout for Wanchope and Ali I was both of them games . Bishop in the playoff final coming on at halftime if I remember correctly ? Turned the tide.

Weaver vs Ipswich Town 1999. We won 1-0 and he made four or five staggering saves.

Edit: Joe Royle bollocked him for doing cartwheels at the end of the game, as it was only October.

Some great shouts mentioned that I'd forgotten about:

Kinkladze away at Oxford, I remember he was unbelievable that day, think he scored 2? He also got the "Nationwide away performance of the week" that week. That actually meant something to me at the time as I assumed we'd never win another trophy!

Tevez at home to Stoke, think it was a few days after the cup final? The game was a bit of an "After the Lord Mayors Show" and Tevez pretty much played them on his own and just tore them apart. Think he scored a brilliant free kick? I've got to say, with the talk of individual performances, that season Tevez had so many games where he just carried the whole team on his back. I genuinely think he was the third best player in the world during that season.

Got to agree with @Mike N on Aguero away at Spurs though, I actually think that might be the best performance I've seen, even though it barely lasted half an hour. His movement was just from another planet that night. That was the fittest, sharpest, and most devastating I've ever seen him. And he bloody pulled his hamstring.

Trevor Francis on his debut at Stoke. One of the best players I have ever seen and briefly took a very average City team to top of the table around Christmas.

I'd forgotten about that. On fire that day
