She doesn't, she didn't fully understand what was going on, and I was able to get the prick out the car before he got his hands on her, she just thinks it was some random loon trying to get in the car. The aftermath was pretty depressing though. Our local police were brilliant, there quickly, dealt with it spot on, but they did say it would almost certainly get dropped by the CPS and they were right. Said it was down to dwindling numbers, and all the decent staff at the CPS seeing the writing on the wall and taking early retirement. The conservative party have fucking destroyed the infrastructure of this country.

I knew the council had decided to switch off street lights but i dont go out at dark , guess why , so i was ok

Late one night i had to rush silva to the vets , i went out to my car in pitch black as i am not on a main road , anyone could be walking past , i shouldnt have to worry about it but i did , because i am a disabled o!der woman who wouldnt have stood a chance

My only thought should have been silva

Turning street lights off was the worst thing to do to save how much money

The chances of someone being a victim is extremely small and certainly nothing to worry about. To walk from your door to the car must take less than a minute, for a killer to be walking past, spot you and decide to kill you is one in a million.
Posters on here are making the usual big BM deal about street lights, I bet not one could identify where they had been turned off. I couldn't. We are whipping ourselves into a frenzy for nothing

We could put a cop on every street corner and have huge street lights but if you have an irrational fear it will do no good.

Plain clothes coppers in plain cars is a good idea not sure why the police have to advertise their presence.

If you think about it looking around and seeing no police is a green light. Looking around and wondering if anyone is seems much better.

There are obvious pitfalls to a secret police system mind.
