If I had incited a riot, let alone an insurgency, at a public meeting, which led to deaths, I would currently be suiting in a cell with no bail...to argue differently is enabling.

I think I agree with you. I just think there is power in the sight of him being quietly reduced to a non entity, and then receiving justice in a very ordinary way rather than him becoming any sort of martyr. I'm actually surprised no one since November has sought to leverage his debts and misdemeanours in order to buy his silence and quiet exit.
