NOT GETTING MANCINI HIS TRANSFER TARGETS?TIGHT FISTED T..TS

NOT SIGNING MESSI

Yeh o.k.

The absolute shambles of trying to move the late great joe mercer upstairs, the absolute shambles of letting men in suits take the club from one disaster to another in the transfer market in buying big selling cheap, I would love to know the deficit over my past 47 years of watching city! The absolute shambles of not realising the potential of players in the transfer market. The dropping of wyn the leap Davies when we all but had the title nailed down? Not playing dennis tueart in the cup final replay! Having a chairman who should have in his fa chairmanship capacity got the fa cup final replay at a neutral ground. The changes of successive managers who were incapable of managing under a board of directors who were all but puppets. Believing that players in our side over the years were better than what they were no names, these are just a minority I have seen but now I have never been as happy with the way the club is going. We have the best owner the best manager and best of all the supporters.

Many over the years:-

Selling David Wagstaffe

Signing Lee Bradbury, Steve Pointalot and Steve Daley.

Alan Ball/Steve Coppell

Alienating Colin Bell (for a while)

Bringing Big Mal back

Not giving Nelly a testimonial.

Alan Ball heeding the advice of some bloke in the Main Stand with a transistor radio has to be up there.

Appointing John Benson always seems to get overlooked.

Peter Swales offering Joe Royle the job live on TV, which caused him to turn it down when the fans and staff at Oldham pulled on his heartstrings.

The abortion that was the Umbro Stand. Another missed opprtunity.

Bringing Big Mal back and allowing him to dismantle a very good team in an unbridled fashion.

However the biggest mistake has to be showing our not so noisy neighbours kindness and benevolence on more than one occasion in the past, to enable them to survive and flourish, for them only to forget this fact as soon as it suited them.

What's the story there?
