Biggest net spend over past decade - City 5th, United first

If you take Total net spend and times it by avg. league position you can get a sense of what you're getting for your money (the lower the figure the better).

Obviously City are top (avg league position of 1.7 over the 10 years), Liverpool a close 2nd (avg pos 3.7 - but net spend less), Spurs a clear 3rd.

Utd are 9th behind West Ham and are only ahead of Villa and Newcastle, both who spent time in the championship in this 10 year period.

Its a convoluted way of saying utd are fucking shit.

I don't need maths to tell me what my eyes have seen! Lol
Watching them struggle to make simple passes and have no better system of progressive football than smash it behind the high line into space for Rashford to sprint after is a disgrace considering their spend on players. It's currently where talent goes to die. Long may it continue.
