Nobody expecting us to be imperious every time but we do expect players to at least put a bit of effort into the game . The likes of dzonkey and milner really need to take a look at themselves .

Thought it was a poor day all round to be honest. The town of the Blackburn, the majority of the team and a fair amout of people in the away end not great. Could have done without a replay and all..... But we're still in it, we move on, and we get the chance to beat them at our place now. Everyone had poor days. Couldn't get a ticket unfortunately but I thought those that did did us proud. I guess if you were there you heard it different? My apologies

Re: "Squad Players" not doing enough.

"Aside from James Milner" it was one the poorest games he's had for city he was hopeless all day, over running the ball giving it constantly to them.His control and corners we're no better.

Pellegrini should have played Lopes from the start, a talented kid with the desire to impress is far better in these games than an experienced squad player who's seen it all before. Milner had an absolute 'mare today, though he wasn't alone in that.

Desire……….that's the word …..desire. In a cup game thats it! Please Manny put it into the team.

why surely?

Dzeko didn't have a bad game. You don't need your striker to run around like headless chickens and chase players with the ball all the time when they can save energy to to make runs or hold off defenders to win headers for the entire game.

Milner tried hard as always, some of the runs and passes didn't come off but he did try hard. Yes We weren't at our best but there's no need to needlessly bash our players like that.
