If others came forward to confirm this happens (or has happened), what could possibly be done about it?
I always thought it was pretty obvious when the rags always got easy groups or draws. I used to predict virtually every opponent they got. It's about as likely as spinning a coin and getting tails 10 times in a row.

A friend at work, a United season ticket holder said he had always been suspicious of their easy draws. He commented that they usually get easy groups (including last season when they weren't top seeded), and generally get easy knockout games. His theory was that this wasn't necessarily to favour United or the big teams per se, but to protect revenues by ensuring the best TV audiences in latter stages.

Sepp Blatter claims that he has witnessed a UEFA European tournament draw that was fixed in an interview with La Nacion.

Blatter's allegation is that "hot and cold balls" were used during UEFA draws which therefore fixed the outcome.

I'm shocked that a man of such integrity could make such a claim.

Say this is all true, and therefore there has to be some 'ex-footballing' name/s complicit picking the cold ball/s, what's the simplest way of running this scam and what could be the greatest outcome possible with the least impact?

So one 'bent picker', and one cold ball per pickers turn? Could they guarantee a big team an easy path to a final - That in itself is surely worth a lot of money? Or could they crucify a teams chances of progressing?

Can't be arsed watching a whole draw on video to figure out what the smallest 'input' could achieve... Just call me UnkleLazyC**t!!
