Blue Alliance Survey Results - SING UP FOR THE CHAMPIONS

I'm sorry and i know it upsets people, particularly the luddites amongst our support, but the reality is that the only thing that hasnt been tried are a drum and a Capo and these are the only things that can ensure a level of coordination that is essential for chants to take hold for longer than 30 secs

Just NO a Capo is the worlds worst idea.

Well done to the BA all the work their doing though I know Felix works overtime arranging stuff when he`s not out shit-faced or something.

If we are going to go a little gimiky, then scarves and inflatables are much better than flags.

It is all about the songs though. We don't really have many good player songs, for our key players. Aguero is worthy of more than "Sergiooo, sergioo." Kompany has the Rosler "Vincent, Vincent Kompnay" but that doesn't get much of an airing very often. Silva, bless him, doesn't even have one! Neither do other key players like Barry, Hart or Richard Wright.

Would be great to get some original songs, using original tune, for these players. say what you like about the scousers, but they are very good at this.

As other people have stated we need longer songs, fort I'd had songs going on for a good 2/3 minutes.

I remember at home to dynamo Kiev a few years ago, we (can't remember the song now) had a song going for a good 10 minutes in 110. Was brilliant.

Great news that the club are supportive of your efforts and I applaud what you are trying to do.

The fact is though thatyou need to think differently about this and be bold if things with the atmosphere are really to change.

Ticker tape, flags, look great but they arent going to improve the atmosphere. You need songs that can last and be sustained and you need something to help keep the atmosphere and inform people of the songs to sing. it is the ONLY way to ensure the fans sing the same songs and songs take off for the rest of the ground to join in. This is even more important when you have two disparate singing sections.

I'm sorry and i know it upsets people, particularly the luddites amongst our support, but the reality is that the only thing that hasnt been tried are a drum and a Capo and these are the only things that can ensure a level of coordination that is essential for chants to take hold for longer than 30 seconds.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Much as i applaud the efforts here i dont see anything different that will materially change the atmosphere short of the usual tremendous performance on the pitch that always helps.

TBA should get their much bigger numbers involved in coordinating songs at the EDS games whether that does or doesnt involve a drum or capo. At least it will start a level of coordination and practice of new chants.

keep up the good work im not having a go, the efforts you are putting in to make a difference should be applauded but you need to be more radical than ticker tape and slightly earlier arrival.

1. fans all round the ground have to adopt the attitude that they want to sing and join in rather than sit there waiting for us to win 4-0
2. a drum a capo the number of people asking for this is minimal - at this stage - if a huge body of opinion came through in favour of it, then that's a different story- dortmund might sing 6 songs each lasting 10 minutes each - borussia dortmund ole ole ole, ole ole ole, ole ole ole...the argument against the long winded chants is that it kills anything apontaneous (the poznan for example we adopted it there and then) - also all our traditional songs would just die out. europeans were envious of our atmospheres - they have these groups now and they are loud in comparison - but they have safe standing - drink in their seats etc - we don't have that. plus long winded monotone songs means the old songs just die out, which means we become soul-less
3. we've hired a recording studio and will be covering a lot of the old songs and curent songs shortly - we'll get that out through i-tunes so people get familiar with the songs that have died out etc, then when they hear them again in the ground they'll carry better but there's a long term thing and a short term thing obviously - the points above are my personal points of view anyway

I think the biggest challenge is getting bum's on seats 10 min's before kick off for anyone to actually start to sing! That's why the PA sytem is what it is.
Sadly, to many folk can't leave the beer alone until the last possible moments before KO.

On another subject why not introduce a certain theme for big games ?? Like the Bananas, anything is possible to add to the visual effect.

How about inflatable whiskey bottle's v united ?? lol

And inflatable police baton's v Real Madrid!!!!.....thugs in uniforms that they are!!

Should add i was reffering to the Madrid cop's as thug's.
