jacko you're a lunatic mate, we need you to start coming down too mate

I'd have loved all this shit a few years back mate, I bet it's a quality laugh. I rarely get to any aways these days though.

I love the passion you still have for this stuff like, saying that I wouldn't expect anything else!

the away atmosphere is fine, this is all about the home games now

Aye, I know. What do you do though when you're not sat in the South Stand or in the corner though? Basically, you're out of the only areas that sing and it isn't as simple as just walking round and joining in.

I'd love us to have the best atmosphere in the country, and I suppose that should be the aim for groups like yourselves. We have had one of the best in years gone by. Now though it will be a huge achievement if a even a good atmosphere could be achieved at most home games (without a drum of course).

I've often thought about our "Anthem" Bluemoon. There are occasions when the whole ground sing as one and it sounds great. The trouble is it seems to die away really quickly and fizzles out because we only repeat a small part of the song and some parts of the stadium give it up earlier than the others. Given that its recognised universally as our song, might it be a good idea that as supporters we learn and sing the whole song all the way through. The club could help by maybe putting the words on the electronic boards till we've all learnt it. This might be also co-ordinated with flag waving, drum or something else. What do you think?
Why not sing all the song & not one verse

when we were at maine rd we used to all sing bluemoon normally and as its dying out i'd shout "i said bluemoon saw u standing alone etc, whilst clapping, this was to the tune of that shit version of bluemoon which got released a few years back by some local band, but it would get it going for another minute or so.
It definetley works young ens coz i used to do it every week

can we get a quick snapshot here, the plan is to get fans in early and turn the PA off against ajax so that our fans can disrupt the ajax fans building up momentum and so we can build our own

the club are also saying they can do the same thing for swansea at home. ie turn the PA off for 5 mins before kick off, provided people get to their seats 10 mins before kick off.

what's the view on doing this before swansea as well, 5.30pm ko, and not sure how many swansea are bringing, do we feel this is worth doing too?

could do with immediate opinions on this, cheers
