Blue Boycott of the Mirror

serves you all fucking right, some of us have avoided that paper for more than 20 years, its nothing knew, as to e mailing the reporter, you would have been better off e mailing his boss ,telling him why you are going to boycott the paper, he might actually have a word with the journo involved then

The Mirror has always been like that. They ripped the piss out of us in '98 when we played Mansfield in the Auto Windscreens, I have never bought it since.

Same here. One of the great pleasures in the future will be imagining how pissed off they are when we start winning things. That 'Barnsley fan' doesn't surprise me. Anyone else remember them singing Utd songs to us back in the bad old days?

But most of all I want City to go down because they are the just the latest bad example football is setting for a whole new generation of fans. They spread the idea that being a football fan is only about one thing, and that thing is success.

What an absolute knobcheese. How the fuck have we spread the idea that it's only about success, surely he has us mixed up with them. If ever there was a reason for an article to be printed in a dressing room, this is it. It should get a reaction too

Ditto M35, was about to make the same point, this was the last time I read or purcahse it and the point about the links is correct, cut and paste to drive down their revenue.

A ban on the Mirror would be very scouselike.

As for the article, typical rubbish but a letter to Santa the day after Christmas says it all.

Yes a remember buying a Sun in Liverpool once many years ago and hadn't realized it was such a crime!

I'm surprised no one from the Mirror has had a really good kicking yet. They've been taking the piss out of City for years. Maybe a warning is overdue.

Funny thing about the article is that Villa were taken over by a billionaire and have outspent most in the Premiership under O'Neill. And sure they have a lot of English players, but only one of them is home grown.
