Just need to trial it at Grassroot level/U21's and see how it goes rather than rush it in the Prem.

VAR should have been implemented far slower, ie: first season just VAR use for handballs, second season offsides etc

when you rush major changes into the top leagues it creates anger when it doesn't all go plain sailing.

That’s true he’ll be fresh as a daisy for the whole season, mainly because he’s a certainty to bag a couple of blue cards every game.

Another way of manipulating the game. They can't even get the same decisions right every week with up to five minute reviews on var. One almost identical handball/foul is a penalty, another isn't. Just fuck off with this nonsense.

It's a ridiculous thing to introduce and some thing else for the ref to screw up and manipulate.

I'd rather they take a look at more severe punishments or punishment fitting the crime, especially at grass roots level.

I coach a team and my son is GK, who plays outside of his box like Eddie, and got sent off for an accidental handball - possibly stopping a goal scoring opportunity. Fair enough in some respects, but gets a game ban, £35 fine and obviously the team is down to 10 men for the rest of the game (which we won on pens)

This weekend, my forward tells the ref to "fuck off" - gets sinned binned for 8 mins - and that's that.

I know where I would be focusing my attention.
