Blue Moon Top 100 Bands Artists - Full List of Artists (pg 287)

Ha ha ha I was going to write about that but while I don't like him nor his music, and hate his politics, his rep and his stupid gun shit, he's a genre-jumper musically which takes some creativity and he's never killed anyone driving drunk as far as we know. Neil is fundamentally evil and stupid and has no talent whereas Kid Rock is just fucked up.

Didn't he get done for asault once? Also he is mates with number 50 on this list, Ted Nugent, another wrong un

WAIT!!!!! @RobMCFC I demand a recount now this vital piece of evidence has been uncovered!!!!
Somebody getting their order wrong is not a vital piece of evidence. Well, it is, but only evidence of the fact that they got it wrong.

Still, I forgot to include the red and yellow card rule: -Yellow card = minus 3 points to two artists you wish to torpedo and red card = minus 5 points to one artist you like even less.

Now this “evidence” has been uncovered, I suspect that The Smiths might have struggled to get in the top 50.

Deep breath . . . . . .

A literal Who's Who of dinosa . . . errrrrr . . . I mean "classic" rock, except somehow there's Kraftwerk in there :).

I think in parsing this I'd have about one-quarter or so on my list of top 100 too, give or take 5 bands. Still most surprised that Roxy Music missed out. Not surprised The Cars did but I really like them too -- three really good records and two pretty decent ones out of their first five. Nice to see some love for the underrated Molly Hatchet (I think we talked about this before).

I'll forgive you your ELP and Styx and Journey. I can see the appeal though they are an easy target for me (and everyone else) to criticize. I'll forgive harmless fun like Loverboy and Eddie Money (a local lad, as in San Fran) cuz I liked their hits . . .

But . . .

Your #26 is unforgiveable. Not only does Motley Crue suck enormous donkey schlong musically, but Vince Neil is up there among the worst human beings to ever grace a stage -- not only is he Sammy Hagar with even less talent (were that possible), he's a drug-addicted, drunk-driving, multiple felony-committing woman beater. He's disgusting. And now he's fat as Stephen Howson too.

Moreover, in one song he boasted that he could reach orgasm in ten seconds. Think about that for a second. He actually BOASTED ABOUT HIS PREMATURE EJACULATION PROBLEM. What a fucking idiot.

Music is one thing, but I draw the line at untalented, evil, stupid human beings. And he's all of those.

I don't need your or anyone's approval or forgiveness.

My best friends were friends of Razzle's so I don't a need lecture on Neil: that event hit close to home. I should have remembered to put Hanoi Rocks in my 100 though.

Unfortunately, the music business is full of all sorts of assholes.

Oh and Roxy Music are in my 100.

All we needed is for you to rate Roxy a bit higher and they could have snuck in. Oh well.

Sorry about the diatribe, I just obviously really dislike the guy.

I was c(k?)urious how Kraftwerk made it in there most of all. They influenced so, so many other bands with their sound so I figure you have some others who used them as a springboard that you like. Or maybe they were so different and first so you like them for that?

Now THERE'S a San Fran/Bay Area band that would make a Bay Area list ala the Mancunian bent in this poll. Les Claypool is a genius. And very, very funny.
